think I mentioned this on the 2016 thread

from what I was hearing after the coaches meeting its what bill bellichick has been trying to get in place for years. shouldn't affect the lengths of games too much as you still only get 2 challenges but you can now challenge more plays, and the decision should just come down from the people watching at HQ rather than the ref having to run the length of the field to go under the hood.

For all of the video reply fans out there, the NFL is changing the review policy to identify plays that are non-reviewable instead of what is reviewable. In other words, everything is now reviewable unless there is a specific rule against it.

I don't know about you, but more action of referees standing around trying to make a decision is exactly what the game needed.

grumps, i'll be gutted to lose morris but it seems gruden's determined to build 'his team' and alfred doesn't fit in. matt jones is a decent prospect but he looks a bit fragile in comparison and loves a fumble so im not convinced he's ready yet. whoever signs morris will get a top pro who gives 100% every game

Carlos Hyde is an excellent RB for us, but unfortunately he was injured really early and didn't play again.

Basically we were so shit they stuck him on the season out list even when fit so as not to fuck his foot up again.

grumps, im not keen on chip kelly as a bloke but he may be just what kap needs. he'll play a system that suits him better and he should be more comfortable. you just need to sort out a decent running back. we have one that may be available soon due to our cunt of a coach being blind to his talent

The Bears *spits, have had some great players over the years haven't they?

Butkus, Singletary, Gayle Sayers, Sweetness, even Mike Ditka

Re: 2015 NFL Season *Official Super Bowl thread*
the thing about Butkus was his size. he was like 6ft 3+ and built like a tank. obviously no comparison to the size of Watt now but in the 60s & 70s he must have terrified some QBs and RBs

Re: 2015 NFL Season *Official Super Bowl thread*
Mike, Singletary was a great great linebacker, I'd like to think he learned a lot from Butkus, plus he had those EYES

Re: 2015 NFL Season *Official Super Bowl thread*
the Redskins have tagged Kirk Cousins but on a non exclusive contract so it seems they're protecting themselves if anyone wants to offer him more money and a couple of draft picks. Kirk probably deserves a good deal but $19m in the first year, escalating over five plus years may be a bit too much of a gamble?

Re: 2015 NFL Season *Official Super Bowl thread*
he was a true BEAST. not many better tacklers than him. I never saw him play a lot so id always go with Singletary as my favourite Middle Linebacker but I wouldn't argue with anyone saying Butkus

I know it's close season for the NFL but was just browsing Youtube and came up with this, the legend, the beast that was Dick Butkus, a one man demolition crew, what a player, what a Linebacker

Dick Butkus, I salute you:

Have already stuck a dummy and rattle in the post for him, as he seems to need them more than a super bowl ring.

Word he should learn is 'professional', as I'd expect anyone to be disappointed after losing, but it was pathetic.

Still, its an American trait really to act like a cunt after rubbing people's faces in it all year.

Re: 2015 NFL Season *Official Super Bowl thread*
there's no need to behave like he did in the press conference. it was like watching a kid after being told he can't have any sweets. he needs to realise and quick that no team is entitled to win and if you do lose, lose in the right way rather than a spoilt cunt
